three short stories (“(unbearable)”, “plausible deniability”, and “‘hey’”), one NSFW (“‘hey’”), about Derek — formerly a teen, also formerly a some-time supernatural detective, still extremely gay — and Nate, his best friend(?), chronicling key moments in their relationship: their first kiss, their second kiss, and some indeterminate number of kisses (and more than kisses) later. an alternate timeline version of the protagonist of my short story “illumination,” published in Uncharted.
